The beginning of 2007 starts with the installation of a new 2 colour 40" Heidelberg.
The end of 2006 included the installation of several new pieces of finishing equipment. These new machines diversify the finishing capabilities of Advance Printing.
Stahlfolder TH/KH. The new dimension of professional folding reduces changeover times with efficient automation & ergonomic operation.
Sitma 905. These 2 machines are automated collating & film wrapping system. Finished products can be batch counted, collated & film wrapped.
Score/fold machine. This is a custom built machine which scores & folds greeting cards at high speeds.
Longford collating system. Suitable for batch counting & collating of product.
Image Craft closure
July 2006 marked the end of Image Craft greeting cards. Advance Printing printed their line of cards for over 20 years & together became the market leader in the dollar card industry. The closure & liquidation has opened new doors for Advance Printing. We were able to purchase some of the equipment from the estate, primarily the 2 Sitmas & the score/fold machine & the brand names & digital print images of Image Craft were bought by Hallmark. Today, Advance Printing continues to print the Image Craft greeting card line.
